My recent trip to Galveston, TX was magical! The water was calm and clear. I spent days floating in the gulf watching schools of small fish flip and flop out of the surf. This attracted flocks of pelicans who dove into the waves to catch lunch. The hermit crabs came out to say "Hi." And, following a dramatic storm, and double rainbow glittered the sky! My sister and I also constructed this magnificent sandcastle!
This special time spent basking in the sun and in the love of my family reminded me of the true inspiration behind the Love Story Collection. These patterns are a simple reminder to cherish the moments and treasure the happiness shared with loved ones.

Symbols of Friendship
The beach holds significance for our newest Friendship Love Story pattern. Just like the beach is a vast world of mysteries and deep connections, so is the realm of friendship. In my study of friendship, these symbols (shown below) have emerged to help tell the story of friendship. The moon and the sun, for example, are complementary elements in the sky. The sun radiates light and warmth, while the moon reflects the sun's light, symbolizing serenity, calmness and a chosen love. Similarly, in a friendship, individuals often possess different qualities and strengths that complement and enhance each other. These symbols provide just a glimpse of the Friendship Love Story pattern, so stay tuned for more developments as this pattern is revealed and transformed into products that celebrate the love of friends.
